On May 1st, 2009, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration warned consumers to immediately stop using Hydroxycut weight-loss products by Lovate Health Sciences Inc.
Lovate has agreed to recall affected Hydroxycut products from stores after one Hydroxycut related death occurred due to severe liver injuries. The FDA has received a total of 23 reports of serious health problems linked to Hydroxycut products.

What Health Problems are Associated With Hydroxycut?
The FDA has not determined which exact ingredients, dosages, or other health-related factors helped increase the health risk in certain Hydroxycut products.

Who Can Sue
There is currently a Hydroxycut class action lawsuit in Canada against Lovate and it is believed that there will be a future class action lawsuit in the United States as well.
